This will be a back door passage to Buraimi (failed trip last Friday). Please go thru the map and let me know if anybody is interested.

There will be a tropical depression within that area this weekend as it is situated above sea level and considering the fact that there will be a "CYCLONE" heading for the U.A.E. which is set to hit this Thursday...
Anyhow, we can use this to our advantage as we can expect rain fall and LOTS OF WADI'S TO SWIM IN!!!! YAHOOO! what's the plan for food? kanya kanya ba donate ng food?

Hi Guys,
I do not suggest you take this route till after "Cyclone". I have travelled this trail before and you will be crossing
several "Wadis" and some steep mountain pass.
As a rule of thumb, one is never supposed to cross or go into wadi beds unless you want to see if your SUV can float during a flash flood.
May I suggest that a couple of guys do an occular after the storm just to make sure that the "backdoor" is clear of boulders and other obstructions like sentries and passport control officers.
Be sure to carry your passports and car insurance for Oman, just in case.

anyways...you're right dude. Scouting the area before driving is a good idea pero I'm not sure if we're going wadi bashing...although i'd love to go wadi bashing i doubt it na yun ang gimmick. I think it's a waterfall that we're going to.
Sandman are you coming this weekend? kasi when we head home afterwards, i was hoping you could show me some really nice spots in the area...if you've got the time.
